LONDON - Sony announced that Qriocity, their cloud-based digital music service is now available in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The service, launched in the UK and Ireland in December 2010, provides to its users access to millions songs catalog from Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and EMI Music, as well as several independent labels. Similarly, as quoted by TechCrunch, Sunday (01/23/2011).
Users can play music at any time through devices like the Sony BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc player, Blu-ray Disc Home Theater System and the PlayStation 3. Qriocity service comes with two options: Basic (3.99 Euro per month) and Premium (9.99 Euro per month).
Previous launches 'Video On Demand powered by Qriocity' a video streaming service in the U.S. in April 2010 and access services to France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK in November 2010. Sony said that Qriocity streaming video service will be available in Japan on January 26.
