Vinci Tablets
LAS VEGAS - One of the favorite product at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2011 is Vinci, tablet intended for infants and toddlers (babies under three years old), the product of a Hong Kong company, Rullingnet Corp.

Launched by Vincigenius, Monday (01/10/2011), Vinci Tab is a touch-screen computers designed specifically for infant and toddler safety. Not only the design, Vinci also use non-dangerous materials, considering the baby has a habit of inserting foreign objects into their mouth. For example, instead of ordinary screen, Vinci use tempered glass, which is used on car windows in order to avoid the danger of broken glass if the tablets fall.

Vinci is equipped with 1 GHz Cortex AB processor with 512MB RAM. In addition, Vinci also provides a 3-megapixel camera located on the back of the tablet. With rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, Vinci allows users to watch videos, listen to music or play games for up to 8 hours.

Different from common tablet, Vinci isn't equipped with Wi-Fi or 3G functionality. In addition, Vinci, which uses Google's Android operating system is also equipped with an application that is inspiring and instructive. That is, parents do not have to worry about their children seeing harmful content through the tablet.

Unfortunately, Vinci is not ready yet to be marketed, but Rullingnet allegedly would fix the range of US$479 as the selling price.
