Samsung Introduces New Tablet Processors

Samsung Electronics announced their new processor which is specifically used in mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices. Exynos with Orion code, currently the mainstay of Samsung Electronics in the chip market. Exynos derived from Expynos and Prasinos, which in Greek means smart and green.

These processors will replace Hummingbird Samsung processor. Exynos have high performance and low power intake. This chip is 1GHz dual-core processor, with application designed for full HD multimedia and consume less power so the battery could last longer.

Exynos will enliven processor competition which is made specifically for the tablet device. Previously, processor manufacturers such as Qualcomm and Texas Instruments also makes a special tablets chip, such as dual-core APQ8060 Qualcomm Snapdragon and OMAP 5. Rumors are circulating, Samsung will produce Exynos next month.
