ZTE Corporation successfully launched a prototype device symmetrical 10G Ethernet Pon (EPON) first in the world, who is also the device optical line terminal (OLT) to support symmetrical 10G EPON series product and optical network unit (ONU) in the event China Summit 2009 FTTH.Symmetrical 10G EPON technology is the latest generation of technology, passive optical network (Pon) with access speeds reach 10Gbps for both Upstream and downstream.
