Web-based Google Android Market
Finally, Google launched their web version of the Android Market app store, following criticism of Google Android users. Previously, users often complained about Android Market because Google do not offer a web version of their Android Market. So far, the Android Market can only be accessed via mobile phones.

And now the problem was finally resolved. Google Android Market is now accessible through the web, as well as Apple's App Store as Cellular-News reported on Thursday (02/03/2011). Now users can monitor all their transactions through the web version using their Google account.

Web version of Google Android Market allows users to send applications directly to their friends with just a few clicks without using cables.

Android Market web version was introduced when Google launched its Android operating system version 3.0 Honeycomb. Honeycomb is suppose to be available in the market along with Apple introduced the newest version of their iPad.

Samsung Galaxy Smartphone
SEOUL - Samsung is now preparing to renew the Galaxy smartphone products. This time the four variants of the Galaxy will be released by Samsung. Reported via Cellular News, Thursday (01/27/2011), Android-based smartphone that will be launched only have a short name. They are Ace, Fit, Gio and Mini.

Unfortunately, Samsung does not explain in detail the advantages of these phones, including pricing and technical details quartet of Samsung Galaxy. They just say that this smartphone has a very great design and features than its successors.

These smartphone designed to provide a different experience, without abandon the idea that these devices will simplify the mobile experience for its users. Samsung wants its users can directly connect and share their life experiences to friends and family in real-time.

Apple iPhone 4
NEW YORK - The biggest telecommunications operator in the U.S., Verizon Wireless finally confirm if the latest series of iPhone will be available in early February.

Launched by Cellular News, Wednesday (01.12.2011), telecom service provider company that already publishes presence iPhone 4 on their official website. Unfortunately this newest Apple's smartphone will be available for their customers only through online purchases on their sites using 'first come first serve' method.

In Verizon's site mentioned that Verizon new and old customers can buy it at Apple stores starting February 10. Verizon acknowledges collaboration with Apple to make the new iPhone has been going on for two years.

iPhone 4 that is bundled with the Verizon runs on CDMA and EVDO Rev. A network. This iPhone 4 can support Apple's video calling service. Unfortunately though sophisticated, iPhone 4 is not compatible with Verizon's LTE network.

Verizon offered price to this iPhone 4 was almost the same as the previous series, approximately US$199,9 for iPhone 4 with 16GB capacity and under contract for two years. iPhone 4 buyers also welcome to have an iPhone 4 without a contract. Of course, with relatively more expensive prices.

ATLANTA - The popularity of Apple iPhone still hasn't been unchallenged, after this Apple's smartphone become the most widely discussed brand in social media, for three consecutive years. Thus the Vitrue Inc. analysis results, a social media management from Atlanta as disitat Cellular News, Sunday (01/09/2011). Following below the iPhone is the Blackberry (2), Disney (3), Android (4) and iPad (5).

Vitrue measure "social reference" (social mentions), a brand with an analysis of everyday online conversations in various social networking sites, blogs, microblogging, photo sites and video-sharing. Even so, the list which was released in Vitrue 100 merely illustrates a brand volume social mention, not the sentiment toward the brand.

Very impressive to see Apple dominating the list by placing six brands: iPhone, Mac, iPod, Apple, and iTunes. Moreover, four of the their brand was ranked in the top 15. Meanwhile, Blackberry managed to rise 13 ratings. 60 percent of brands that occupy the top-20 ratings are electronic products, it shows strong industrial dominance in the social reference.

Electronics brand as a whole has the largest share in Vitrue 100 (30%). Followed by fashion / retail (20%), automotive / transportation (17%), media / broadcast (12%), sports (5%), online (5%), food and beverages (4%), fast food restaurants (4%), financial (2%) and toys / entertainment (1%).
