Upcoming version of Opera would seem to 2.5 times faster than the existing version of Opera now. Opera achieve more speed because Carakan, an engine ECMAScript / Javascript that is being developed for this Internet browser, Carakan far away Opera 10 Presto 2.2 Alpha

Carakan goal is to become the fastest browser engine on the market. Apart from the goal that Opera seems very difficult to be reached where Google and Mozilla also has the same end goal for Chrome and Firefox.

By using the regular cross-flatform switch dispatch (without the code in the native-generate) Carakan will 2.5x faster on the benchmark Spider-Sun, faster than the ECMAScript engine 2.2 Presto used by Opera 10 Alpha. Although the native code generation Carakan not ready for full testing, but at the individual benchmark tests show that Carakan is compatible with the speed of 5 to 50 times faster.

Furthermore, Carakan will not rely on bytecode execution that is faster, but the Opera will be able to modify the engine that combines many programs and functions into native code. Unfortunately, Opera does not hurry implemented the Carakan ECMASript / JavaSript, at least Carakan will used after Opera 10. PCMedia
